Tolkien Moot 2010 RSVP Online Form Now Available

This year the event is taking place August 13-15, 2010 near downtown Spokane, Washington, US.

Registration begins Friday, August 13th at 4:00 pm.

Convention events begin Friday, August 13th, 5:30 pm.

The convention ends Sunday evening, August 15th, 6:00 pm.

The gathering this year is still free and open to the public, though we are planning in upcoming years to begin charging admittance fees to cover the costs and expand the venue.

This is the 6th year we are holding the event. It is still small in scale, but growing in quality

and numbers of participants each year.

Though we have catered the meals for the past several years, this year we will probably not provide catering (unless anyone wants to donate food/catering), so participants should bring their own food, or eat at the many establishments nearby during the event breaks.

We are also accepting "Pot Luck" volunteers for the meal breaks and during event munchies for those who wish to contribute (we will have a sign up form on line for pot luck submissions in coming weeks).

So far this year Michael Martinez is slated as a guest speaker, we are waiting to hear back from a handful of others and will announce any other updates on the Tolkien Moot website.

Once again, this year the event remains 100% free to the public, but there is very limited seating, so please RSVP soon. Also, if you need to cancel, PLEASE contact us to free up the seat(s) since there are often many on the waiting list.
